Firm History

Dearn Law Group was founded in 2008 by attorney Alicia Dearn for the purpose of providing high-quality and cost-effective legal services to San Diego businesses.  As a small business owner herself, a former big law firm lawyer enslaved to the billable hour, and a self-described "pointy-headed" businesswoman and technology geek, Ms. Dearn set out to build a firm that was a cut above the standard law firm model.

Since its founding, Dearn Law Group has grown exponentially as clients experience and appreciate the firm's tireless efforts to use technology and creativity in order to keep legal costs down.  This bottom line orientation (with respect to our clients as well as our business) does not cause our clients to sacrifice the highest quality legal advice and litigation services, however.  In fact, our firm's primary focus is to resolve legal problems in a way that meets our clients' individual needs, whatever those needs may be.  We are truly a client-focused firm.
